ALL-DAY VERSATILITY

The Nike Free RN Commuter 2017 Women’s Running Shoe adapts to your day. Perfect for a short run between work or errands, it features the ultra-flexible and innovative Free sole that lets your foot move naturally. Subtle branding lets the shoe blend in with your work wardrobe, so you don’t have to carry an extra pair. If you need to change, its foldable design lets you quickly slide the shoe into a tote or backpack.

COMFORT, SUPPORT AND EASE

Stretchy, sock-like knit material hugs your foot for total comfort and allows you to quickly slip the shoe on and off. Elastic straps wrap your ankle for added support.

ADJUSTABLE FIT

A bungee lacing system combines with ultra-light Nike Flywire cables for support and stability. When you’re ready to run, you can quickly cinch the laces so the shoes stay snug on your feet. This also tightens the Flywire, providing more midfoot support. After your run, you can quickly loosen the bungee laces for a more comfort fit during the rest of your day.

Natural Movement

The Nike Free sole provides the feel of a minimalist running shoe. It moves with you, mimicking the movement of your foot by expanding and contracting with every landing and push-off, for a natural feel.

  • NIKE FREE ORIGINS

After learning that Stanford athletes had been training barefoot, three of Nike’s most innovative and creative employees set out to develop a shoe that felt natural and weightless, similar to bare feet. The team spent four years studying the biomechanics of runners’ feet in motion. The results yielded a profound understanding of the foot’s natural landing angle, pressure and toe position, allowing Nike designers to build an unconventional and flexible running shoe from the inside out.
